Thoughts Become Things

You may or may not be familiar with this phrase. But you are familiar with its meaning. This is basically manifestation. We as humans are innately able to manifest that which we do and do not want. We are doing it unconsciously most of our lives. Join me as I explain what manifestation really is, how to do it consciously and give examples of how it is already working in our lives. Let me help you connect with yourself, learn to hear yourself and show you how to intentionally move forward in life.

These are the topics I’ve covered in the class. I will elaborate on them here. Please feel free to ask any questions or share any experiences in the comments below.

  • I am also going to ask you to understand that we are the creators of our existence. We cannot control others, only our own. There are no mistakes, accidents, coincidences, no matter how traumatic or enlightening. Every experience serves a purpose in our growth and it is up to us how we move forward.“Every experience I have leads me to a greater understanding of my purpose on earth.” Louise L Hay (FYI that purpose is love and letting go of the illusion. I will use the general term The Universe.
  • What does TBT mean? Essentially that which we think we see (i.e. create).

Example – I’m going to have a good/bad day.

Can you relate to this?

  • Are you familiar with manifestation and Law of Attraction?

This basically states that like attracts like.

  • Vision boards & positive affirmations?

 Have these worked for you? I’m guessing not all the way otherwise you might not be here/reading this.“Just as it’s about learning of your power, it’s also about learning of your responsibility. “ Mike Dooley.

  • The essential piece I believe people are missing is their own responsibility in the matter. We’ve set the intention with the vision board or positive affirmations, but we still have to show up every day and navigate the course in the right direction. We have to show up, be present, be clear & concise, without trying to control every detail along the way.
  • There are too many variables involved to have an exact plan play out. Too many people, places and things that are having their own adventure. This really requires us to be honest with ourselves about what we think we’ve been wanting and why. It is important to note here that what you wish to manifest must be your own dream/path, not someone else’s, not because it will make you rich and famous. Can you manifest in this manner yes, but it will be missing the essence and thus will be empty, and you will be on to the next thing.
  • The focus should be on the end result. Emotions especially. Focus on Joy and what it feels like, plug in the details of what you think will make you joyfull, but only to experince the feeling of joy, do not attach to these details. The details are the constantly changing variables, the emotion is the constant.  From ACIM study group: We often try to manifest an effect such as car, money, bigger house; when we should be shifting the focus to a cause {why things happen} such as let me be free from fear, let me be surrounded by love, let me feel at peace. When this is the focus all the material things will fall into place as they should.
  • Even though this whole kit and caboodle is an illusion we are here to experience the material. There is nothing wrong with wanting a bigger house, more money, and a nice car, but why do you want them? For the experience or because you think they will save or heal you? Make you more likeable, etc.
  • You don’t need to worry about how you got were you are, you start from this place right now.
  • ‘You have but to direct your thinking to direct your experience.” Mike Dooley
  • Take a minute or two first thing in the morning and visualize yourself experiencing a feeling you want. Example: joy (a feeling of great pleasure and happiness. Syn. Delight, jubilation, triumph, exhilaration, euphoria, bliss) – you feel joy, others around you feel joy, when you encounter people you are having a joyful experience. You want to include others. And remember, “People are just doing the best they can with what they have.” MD, they’re experience isn’t yours. So don’t focus on how they get more joyful, just that they are joyful with you.
  • Focus on the emotion, not how you go there, just how it feels. If there is a certain background that brings you joy, add it in.
  • At some point in your day, call up the feeling of joy and just be in it. If you have time do another minute of visualization. The phrase fake it til you make it works here. Imagine yourself already where you are, but in imagine it will all your physical senses, experience it on every level. This is where you plug in the details to really take the experience to the next level. But again do not attach to them.
  • You will work your way up to spending a 5 minutes or so a day, working on your visualization. If it is success, imagine yourself at work feeling accomplished, getting congratulated on things, moving to another office, cashing your bigger paycheck ( no $ amount on it) and helping other people from your successful position.
  • As you show up every day, and become responsible for your existence, visualize more, experience more, you will gradually start to see the effects. It usually starts with the ability to switch perception in a negative situation. Yes it’s happening, yes it’s an experience, but it’s not a part of you and it doesn’t have to derail your adventure.
  • I challenge you to try this for 2 weeks. And let me know how it goes.
  • Try this experiment. When you are pressed for time, take a deep breath, relax, focus your thoughts. Ask the universe to help you have enough time, not rush and get to your destination in a timely and safe manner. Another deep breath. As you feel your body relax continue to go about your business, knowing that you control time and there is more than enough.
